Abstract
Despite the current global Aboriginal renaissance, anecdotal evidence suggests that Australia's Higher Education tourism students are lacking knowledge of Indigenous culture prior to entering the workforce. This integrative literature review, coupled with professional experience, examines peer-reviewed journals and other grey literature over the last ten years to investigate the integration, advantages and disadvantages of introducing Indigenous epistemologies in Higher Education tourism curricula. This study reports a paucity in Australian literature that focuses on the introduction of Indigenous epistemologies to the non- Indigenous Higher Education tourism student.
